Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to clearpathdebtguide.com (the "Site"), owned and operated by ClearPath Debt Guide ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). This Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use our free assessment tool and visit our Site, and explains the choices available to you.

By using this Site, you consent to this Privacy Policy, including our collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described below.

Collection of Your Information

Personal Data You Provide

When you complete our free assessment, we collect the information you enter into the assessment form, which may include your name, email address, phone number, and answers to assessment questions. We use this information solely to determine which affiliate partner(s), if any, may be relevant to your situation, and to redirect you to their website(s). We may also collect information you provide if you contact us directly.

Personal Data Collected Automatically

When you visit our Site, we automatically collect certain data through your browser, including:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and device information
  • Referring/exit pages and the date/time of your visit
  • Pages viewed and how you interact with the assessment and Site

Cookies

The only cookie-based tracking technology we use on this Site is the Meta Pixel (operated by Meta Platforms, Inc.). We do not use analytics cookies, functional cookies, or any other third-party tracking cookies beyond the Meta Pixel. See the "Meta Pixel" section below for details.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate the free assessment tool and determine which affiliate partner(s) may be relevant to your responses
  • Redirect you to the website of a matched affiliate partner, where you may independently choose to provide your information directly to them
  • Improve and maintain the Site
  • Measure and improve the performance of our advertising campaigns
  • Respond to any inquiries you send us directly
  • Comply with applicable law and protect against fraud or misuse of the Site

We Do Not Share Your Assessment Information with Affiliate Partners

Important: We do not transmit, sell, or disclose the personal information you enter into our assessment (such as your name, email, or phone number) to any affiliate partner. Our assessment tool is used only to determine which partner's website you will be redirected to. When you arrive at an affiliate's website, you are visiting an independent, third-party site, and any information you choose to provide there is submitted directly to that affiliate and is governed entirely by their own privacy policy and terms, not this one. We encourage you to review an affiliate's privacy policy before providing any information on their site.

We may share limited, non-identifying data (such as which assessment outcome or category led to a given referral, or an anonymized click/referral identifier) with affiliate partners for the purpose of tracking referral performance and receiving compensation. This data does not include your name, contact information, or assessment answers.

How We Share Your Information (Other Than With Affiliates)

We may share information with:

  • Service providers who support our Site's operation (e.g., hosting, form processing, analytics)
  • Meta Platforms, Inc., via the Meta Pixel, for advertising measurement and audience-building purposes (see below)
  • Legal or regulatory authorities, where required by law
  • A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

Meta Pixel

We use the Meta Pixel on this Site. The Meta Pixel is the only cookie/tracking technology deployed on our Site.

What it does: The Meta Pixel allows us to:

  • Measure the effectiveness of our Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad campaigns by tracking actions such as page views and assessment completions
  • Build custom and lookalike audiences for future advertising
  • Retarget visitors who started but did not complete the assessment

What data is shared with Meta: Depending on how you interact with the Site, this may include your IP address, browser/device information, pages visited, and actions taken on the Site (e.g., "PageView," "Lead," "CompleteRegistration"). If you provide your email or phone number through the assessment, a hashed (encrypted) version of that information may be shared with Meta to help match your activity to ad performance. We do not send Meta your unhashed contact information.

Meta's role: Meta may combine this data with other information it holds about you under its own policies, which we do not control. Learn more: Meta's Data Policy and Meta's Cookie Policy.

Your choices:

  • Adjust your ad preferences directly through Meta's Ad Settings
  • Block or clear cookies through your browser settings
  • Opt out of interest-based advertising broadly through the Digital Advertising Alliance or Network Advertising Initiative opt-out tools
  • Since the Meta Pixel is the only cookie we use, clearing cookies in your browser or blocking third-party cookies will stop this tracking entirely on our Site

Your Privacy Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we've collected and how it's used
  • Request deletion or correction of your personal information
  • Opt out of the use of your information for advertising purposes (e.g., via the Meta Pixel)
  • Withdraw consent for future communication from us

Because we do not sell or disclose your identifiable assessment information to affiliate partners, our data-sharing footprint is limited to our own service providers and Meta for advertising purposes, as described above.

To exercise these rights, contact us at clearpathdebtguide@gmail.com.

Data Retention

We retain your assessment information only as long as needed to operate the assessment tool, improve our Site, and comply with legal obligations.

Children's Privacy

This Site is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information through our assessment, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be reflected by an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
